Hey. I'm 20, live in England, and am currently unemployed (just finished a year college course). I'm heading to university in September to study Writing and Film Studies, and hope to be the main "creative force" behind a small Indy game dev. company. Who knows if I can pull it off, but I'm sure as hell gonna try.

Thanks. Well it depends how long you want to play it for. The main thing that would add the hours is unlocking all the items as well as the max amount to use for your deck (4 of each type).
Story Mode is roughly 4-5 hours long I am guessing
8 levels 30-40 minutes each.
4 additional multilayer levels.
64 unlock able items which you get 5 or so for winning. so to unlock all of them (although it gives some of them to you randomly) (64*4) / 5 = approx 52 games played. 52 / 2 = 26 hours (assuming 30 minute games) which would be a perfect scenario. So in 35-40 hours play time you should be able to max out everything I would guess.
It should be the type of game you can pick up play for a half hour then come back later and then play for another half hour.
I love your picture. Makes me think of Lighting bolt Channel Fireball. I played way to much magic back in the day and still get re addicted from time to time :). Our game definitely draws some inspiration from MTG. Good luck with your dream. I've learned the most important thing you need is persistence. The world could definitely use more indie game devs.
